Le souffre extrait \u00e9tait en particulier utilis\u00e9 pour la production de la poudre noire, en le m\u00e9langeant au charbon et au salp\u00eatre.<br \/>\nCette mine se trouve dans le m\u00eame secteur que les mines de sel de Bex. Toutes les traces de l&rsquo;exploitation ont disparu, sauf les galeries souterraines.
